General Rules

Index

The index will remain the same at 8.90. We will be qualifying on reaction time for each individual race

Diaper

If you are running in the Top Eliminator class, you MUST HAVE an engine diaper (not containment). 

Tech

A seasonal tech must be completed prior to the 1st race. There will be a Test N' Tune (weather permitting), seasonal tech can also be completed during this time as well.​

Water Box

Two cars must be in the water box together NO EXCEPTIONS. If you have a heat problem, enter the water box, and then shut off your car until you are ready.

Run Field

Top Eliminator will be an all run field as long as your car can meet the minimum ET requirements in eliminations.​

Dial

All cars must dial between and including 8.90-6.10 seconds.

Weight

No minimum weight is required because scales will not be set up on a regular basis. 

Throttle Stops

Top Eliminator does not allow down-track throttle stops.

Fire Extinguisher System

Fire Extinguisher system is not mandatory for participation.

payouts

Purse Money must be paid at the Ebertz Bros. Racing Trailer (located beside the staging lanes) before 1st round of qualifying. Melanie will accept Cash, E-Transfer or Cheque as the only forms of payment. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS and if you fail to do this, you automatically forfeit the race. The Rule Committee will be informed of individuals who have not paid and they will enforce the rules.

Purse Money – $150.00 per each driver per each race 

For payouts, if you have not renewed your Top Eliminator Membership and make it into the money rounds, you will only receive half of the amounted payout. Payouts will be done behind the Ebertz Bros. Racing pit 15 minutes after the final round is completed.

Yearly Membership Fee – $150.00 per year

Every Top Eliminator Competitor & Crew member must purchase gate admission from Rad Torque Raceway. For more information on that click the link below

Points

Points for qualifying will be added as indicated in the table

There will be no points given for the rounds that are not completed during a race.

It is a 10 race series (5 weekend dates with 2 races each weekend, with a point series to determine overall points). Overall points are calculated from the best 8 races for each individual driver.
